IV drips and B12 injections

Six drips, one quiet lounge.

Six physician-formulated IV drips and vitamin B12 injections, by appointment, in a quiet lounge.

An IV drip beside an armchair in the Qua lounge

An IV drip delivers fluid and vitamins into a vein while you sit, over 60 minutes. It is held to the same house rules as everything else on our menu, and Dr. Abboud tried each one herself before it was offered to you.

The drips and our vitamin B12 injections are given in a quiet lounge at Burr Ridge Village Center. Whether a drip suits you, and which one, is decided by the provider, not by the menu. You leave with exact pricing, not a package.

Eligibility is decided by the provider

Not every drip suits every person, and for some a drip is not the right choice at all. So before any drip or B12 injection, the provider goes through your health history, what you are taking and what you are hoping for, then confirms whether a drip is appropriate and which one. The decision is a medical one.

If a drip is not right for you, we say so. If something in your history deserves a closer look, we tell you that too. Our rule of never rushed, never sold applies in the lounge as much as anywhere else at Qua.

The six drips

Each drip runs 60 minutes. The name tells you what the formula is built around, and the provider goes through the ingredients of the one chosen for you. What a drip does varies from person to person, and we will not promise more than that.

  • The Ultimate Drip: glutathione, vitamin C, zinc, B-complex, magnesium, manganese, copper, B12, biotin, L-carnitine, alpha-lipoic acid and taurine.
  • Recovery Drip: built around the days after travel, illness or a hard week.
  • Revive Drip: built around feeling run down.
  • The Fit Drip: built around training and an active routine.
  • Beauty Drip: built around skin, hair and nails.
  • Immune Drip: built around the immune system.

Vitamin B12 injections

A vitamin B12 injection is a 15 minute appointment: a quick injection, and you are on your way. To request one, choose Weight and wellness on the concierge page.

B12 sits with our weight and wellness services. If you are on a medical weight loss plan with Dr. Abboud, it can be part of a monthly follow-up when she thinks it fits.

The lounge

Drips are given in a quiet lounge, not a clinical bay: an armchair, the drip beside it, and an hour that is yours. Bring a book or your laptop, or close your eyes. A member of the team stays nearby throughout.

The lounge is at 430 Village Center Drive, and we see patients from Hinsdale, Willowbrook, Downers Grove, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Western Springs, Naperville, Elmhurst, Wheaton and Glen Ellyn.

What a drip can and cannot do

A drip is not a diagnosis. It does not read your thyroid, fasting insulin or cortisol rhythm, and it will not tell you why you are tired by two in the afternoon. If that is the real question, the Qua evaluation is built to look for it, and the two can sit side by side.

For many patients a drip is an hour of quiet and a way to take in fluid and vitamins. We would rather say that plainly than dress it up. Results vary, and if we do not think a drip will help, we will not sell you one.

  3. Your hour in the lounge

60 minutes in an armchair for a drip, or 15 minutes for B12. The team stays nearby, and you leave once it is finished.

The provider, after going through your health history and what you are hoping for. You are welcome to arrive with one in mind.

Each drip is 60 minutes in the lounge. A vitamin B12 injection is a 15 minute appointment.

We cannot promise that. A drip does not tell you why you are tired; the Qua evaluation looks for the reasons behind it, and you can have both.

Exact pricing is given at your visit, before anything begins. The only charge to request a time is the $50 deposit.
