What a Qua evaluation looks at.
A normal lab result is a range built from a whole population. You are one person somewhere inside it, and where you sit matters.

The handful of numbers
A standard panel usually checks glucose, a thyroid signal, cholesterol and vitamin D, and calls each one normal if it falls inside the range. For many people that is reassuring. For some, it leaves the real question unanswered: why do I still feel the way I feel?
What we read as well
A Qua evaluation reads the numbers that can shape how you feel and how your body handles weight. Dr. Abboud reviews them with you in plain language, and the plan follows from what they show.
- Fasting insulin
- Thyroid antibodies
- Cortisol rhythm
- GLP-1 response
- Body composition
- Sleep and hunger hormones
Why it changes the plan
Two people with the same weight can have very different reasons for it. When the reason is visible in the labs, the plan can be built around it rather than around willpower. Medication is one tool, used when it fits, with monthly follow-ups to keep the plan honest.
What to do next
If your labs have said normal and you still feel tired, hungry or stuck, request a consultation. The first visit is a real evaluation: history, body composition, the labs a standard panel misses, and a doctor who listens.
